Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released new advertisements for remaining vacancies of Specialist Class-1 posts including General Surgeon, Physician and Gynaecologist. Eligible candidates can apply online within the dates mentioned above.

Eligibility Criteria
- Basic Degree: MBBS from recognized University.
- Postgraduate: MD / MS / DNB or PG Diploma (with required experience).
- General Surgeon: MS/DNB in General Surgery.
- Physician: MD/DNB in Medicine.
- Gynaecologist: MS/MD/DNB or PG Diploma + experience.
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi is required.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/SEBC/EWS (Gujarat): 5 years
- Women (General): 5 years
- PWD: 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: Service years + 3 years
Pay Scale
₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (Level-11) + allowances
Selection Process
- Preliminary Exam — 200 Marks, 180 Minutes
• General Cutoff: 25%
• SC/ST Cutoff: 20% - Interview — Candidates 3 times the number of vacancies will be called.

- SC/ST/SEBC/EWS: No fee
- PWD / Ex-servicemen: No fee
